We are located just 10 minutes away for the Calatagan Golf Club. It is one of the finest courses in the Philippines and recently voted as the “Best Golf Course” by the ICTSI Philippine Golf Tour.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. the 18 hole, par 72 layout is a beautiful parkland course. The tree lined fairways are wide enough for the average golfer but require careful shot placement to approach the relatively small greens.

Open daily, the course is accessible to non members. All house guests of Lago de Oro are able to avail of a 50% discount on normal green fee rates making this one of the best deals around.

Congratulations to Eddie Dierckx, the Overall Champion of the First Annual LAGO Golf Tournament held at the Calatagan Golf Club on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Eddie had a total of 35 points and won Trophies from Ford Batangas and Lago de Oro as well as a cash prize and a Gift Certificate for Lago for 2 free nights accommodation. Eddie and Carla Hudson both had 35 points but Eddie prevailed on the countback. Toy Tipones, Bob Walters, Tim Gosnell and Carlota Sulit all had 34 points for the day.

Carla Hudson won the Front Nine with 21 points and Toy Tipones won the Back nine with 19 points. Both of them received trophies from Ford Batangas and Gift Certificates for Lago de Oro as well as a cash prize.

The awarding dinner was a fun affair with raffle prizes in abundance from our generous sponsors. A special thanks to our major sponsor, Ford Batangas, for their support and for providing the giveaways for all of the participants and the trophies. With Gift Certificates and prizes from Big Apple Dive Resort, the Aubergine Restaurant, Omni Insurance Brokers, Murphy’s Irish Pub, the Appenzeller Restaurant and the Howzat Sports Bar none of the players went home empty handed.
