A great by-product of sandalwood oil extraction is sandalwood resin.  Research has shown that the resin is suitable for use as a colour fixative for lipsticks.  This eliminates the need for aluminium based dyes which are used in the majority of lipsticks to reduce the need for constant re-application.

These lipsticks use Australian sandalwood oil to provide a natural moisturising base, protecting your lips from the damaging effects of sun and dry weather.
